The Exact Dimensions of Hell

The Exact Dimensions of Hell is a post-dramatic play examining an abuse of power between a man claiming to be a Witch and a fourteen year old girl who wants to be one. The work breaks well-worn narratives which tend to focus on the ‘charismatic’ or monstrous nature of the perpetrator over the experience of the victim/survivor. Played by an adult performer, The Girl performs a ritual for the audience from the perspective of her younger self. Through this ritual, The Girl is able to conjure alternate pasts and futures, giving her ultimate agency, embodiment and control. This work is currently in development.
